Kane Brown on selling out Staples Center in Los Angeles
It was very surreal at Staples Center to be one of the eleven country artists to sell Staples Center out. It was amazing. Being out on the stage, I remember the first song I just took it all in afterwards just looking around and seeing everybody there. I just want to say thanks to the fans for coming out. I love you guys. And, Staples Center thank you for allowing me to do y’alls birthday. I appreciate that.

Fans of superstar Kane Brown, one of the top three most-streamed country artists on Amazon Music in the U.S., can now watch an exclusive mini-documentary tracking his incredible journey to becoming one of today’s biggest artists. The Amazon Music mini-documentary, titled Velocity, documents Brown’s early days as he rapidly built a social media following then broke through as rising star, culminating with his monumental set at STAPLES Center in January, making him only the 11th country artist to headline the arena in its 20-year history.

Velocity gives fans a never before seen perspective on Kane’s inner circle, with Brown noting, “I’m incredibly proud of the family I’ve been able to build along the way, including not only my wife and daughter but the family I have out on the road that works so hard behind-the-scenes to make it all happen. This Amazon Music mini-documentary gives fans a new glimpse into my world, including some of the incredibly hard moments that have led up to this point. I appreciate everyone and all the fans who have been there since day one and hope anyone that watches takes away one thing. That this is a family. And we want to do you all proud.”

The mini-documentary shows Brown remembering his first-ever show, in front of a burgeoning fan base in Darlington, South Carolina, and follows him through personal moments, like getting a tattoo of his brand-new daughter’s name before the STAPLES show, and facing tragedy with his family and friends. The film also features commentary from his manager Martha Earls; his wife, Katelyn; his agent, Braeden Rountree; and more.

Amazon Music listeners can also now stream the Amazon Original Live EP, Live From Los Angeles, only on Amazon Music, featuring songs from the STAPLES set, including; “What Ifs,” “Homesick,” “Heaven” and “Lose It.” Fans can listen here, or simply ask “Alexa, play the Amazon Original from Kane Brown” in the Amazon Music mobile app for iOS and Android, or on enabled devices.
