“My song Steady Heart is really about finding that person that loves you at the end of the day. And finding that person that will accept you even when you’re rough around the edges. And this song is one of my favorites that I’ve ever gotten to write because it’s so true. And one thing that’s really special about this song to me is that it’s a love story that I haven’t actually got to experience for myself yet. But I’ve been lucky enough to see it through my mom and dad, and my grandma and grandpa. Who’ve been lucky to stay together for so many years. Their relationships have been very solid since the very beginning of my life. And that’s something that I’m looking for in a person that I want to marry one day.“
