When Brad Paisley said that he was going to embarrass me in front of my hometown. I was nervous to say the least, because he has been playing pranks all tour, so I had no idea what he had up his sleeve for being in my hometown.
Having my family there to share that whole moment with me was incredible because they mean the world to me and I wouldn’t be even playing music without their support.

When Brad asked me to play the Grand Ole Opry in front of my whole hometown crowd, I was taken back. Because it was such a cool moment to be able to share with my whole family.
Getting a chance to play the Grand Ole Opry is such an honor to me. Because it really is the home of country music. And to be able to stand on the same stage as so many other amazing artists that have played there in the past and in the present. It’s just a dream come true.
This song really is just about having a good time with your buddies on a Friday night, tearing up the town and just enjoying the time that you get to have.
So when I wrote this song, it was me and Kenton Bryant. He had already had about half the song finished. And when I came in, he was like, you gotta listen to this, check this out. So we went in and I loved the song and ended up helping him write the second verse and chorus. And yeah, it turned out to be the song it is.
