Here is the story behind the song to support the release of Smestad’s “Can’t Have Mine.”
When writing “Can’t Have Mine” one of my co writers, Shelby Darrall, came into the write that day with the idea of you took your time now you can’t have mine. And our other co-writer, Noby Sidez, And I both loved the idea a lot and we have all been through that. So, we wrote the song off all of our personal experiences. So, we kind of just started writing it and honestly it went pretty easily because we related so well that it just kind of flowed. So, I love this song and I hope other people are able to relate to it.
