“I love the line in the song about ‘we had a dive bar with a real band, they played too loud, and they were real bad, but we were real bored, so we still danced, and we stayed out way too late.’ I can’t tell you how many times in my life I’ve been in scenarios where, you know, we weren’t there because the band was so great. We were just their ’cause that’s where everybody else was, and that’s what you do. And to me, at that point in my life, that’s about as real as it gets.”
