The follow up song to Jake Owen‘s number-one hit “American Country Love Song” is now at country radio. “If He Ain’t Gonna Love You,” the second single from Jake’s album American Love was not only co-written by Chris Stapleton (along with Luke Laird and Shane McAnally), but also features Chris contributing to the song on background vocals. Jake says that “If He Ain’t Gonna Love You” has “got a lot of funk to it, a lot of R&B flair,” and having Chris Stapleton “singing backgrounds is something that I’m just really proud of, and it sounds great.”
