Jake Owen talks about his latest hit, “Alone with You.” (:43)
“I personally chose ‘Alone with You’ to be the single because I personally relate to that song. I know that I’ve had instances in my life where I’ve had that person that was just…they just really grabbed ahold of my heartstrings and kind of toyed with my emotions from time to time. And everyone’s got that person in their life at some point that they just can’t get enough of, and it’s probably not the best for them to be involved, but they do it anyways, and you do that only in turn to learn and know what is right for you. And, anyways, I think this song is a great way of sayin’ it, and it’s a kind of vulnerable way of sayin’ it from a guy’s perspective, and I think it’s a sexy kind of sensual tune that…it’s a little departure from ‘Barefoot Blue Jean,’ but it’s gonna…it’s definitely a side of me people need to see.”
