audio  Jake Owen talks about playing Madison Square Garden. (:35)
“I didn’t have it on my bucket list, per se, like I can’t…one day I want to play Madison Square Garden. It’s just one of those things like, man, that would be cool to play there, you know? My first headline show, first one of my headline tour, we played New York City, Times Square, sold-out Nokia Theater. For me, that was a huge, huge, huge feat in itself because four years previous to that, I was the opening, opening act for Sugarland, and then it was Little Big Town, and then obviously Sugarland headlined. And I remember playin’ there, goin’, ‘Wow, like, this is pretty cool – New York City,’ you know? It’s super-cool, man — I can’t tell you what it’s gonna feel like until I get there, but it’ll be pretty neat.”
