“I’m constantly always thinking, even during the show. It’s weird, like, I’ll be in the middle of the show turning around looking at something going on, and it’ll occur to me that this could be something cool for next year. And I remember doin’ that this past summer, or fall, I guess it was, with the Summer Never Ends Tour that was my first headline tour. And I remember bein’ on that stage thinkin’, ‘Well, next year, maybe we can do this or do that,’ so, I mean, whether it’s lighting or it’s sound or, you know, what guitar I play on a song, it’s constantly always changing, but it’s always changing for what I’d like to believe for the better. If you’re ever complacent or content with where you are, then therefore you don’t have visions to go further, and I’m constantly always tryin’ to go further.”
