Jake Owen‘s red-hot career continues to sizzle as he hits number-one on the charts this week with his smash single, “Anywhere with You,” which becomes not only Jake’s fourth consecutive number-one hit, but also the fourth straight chart-topper from Jake’s incredible Barefoot Blue Jean Night album. • Jake’s “Anywhere with You” has now been certified RIAA Gold, meaning that every single from Barefoot Blue Jean Night is now Gold, Platinum, or double Platinum! Wow!

  Jake Owen says that the new music he’s playing on the road, as well as the things he’s recorded in the past, are all songs that truly connect with him. (:26)
“Yeah, I mean, anytime I record a song, it has to do somethin’ for me personally. I mean, I don’t just look at it as though, ‘Well, this sounds like a song that would be a hit on the radio, so I should just put my voice on it.’ In order for me to put my voice on a song, I have to believe it, and I have to want to be a part of it, and so a lot of these new songs — and any song really that I’ve recorded previously is…are things that I enjoy gettin’ out there and singin’. I enjoy watchin’ people sing it back.”
