GWYNETH PALTROW: Great Songs, Great Soundtrack  Gwyneth Paltrow talks about the music for Country Strong. (:47)
“We all got really, really good songs. Our music supervisor found us amazing songs, so…and they’re produced by the best producers in country music, and it’s the real deal. Garrett’s more…he’s more sort of Texas country, and I’m sort of more Nashville country, but it’s great. It kind of spans, you know, where country music is today. It’s about where country music is today and where it’s going, and then we have some amazing, you know, some of the bonafide crew singing on the soundtrack and re-singing some of the songs that are in the movie and are doing songs that are just kind of source music in the movie, and so, it’s kind of as authentic as you can get, other than the fact that there are a few actors singing on it. (laughs) But other than that, it’s the real deal.”
