Story Behind the Song

“Cry Pretty” was inspired by a real life experience. I was in a bar one night and i saw a girl across the room she kept crying with her friends at the table and she’d always go back to the bathroom to fix her makeup and then she would come out and then she’d just ruin it again. I never even talked to her, but this one’s for her, wherever she’s at.
