“Who I Am with You” is the title of Chris Young’s new hit, and when we caught up with Chris not long ago, he said that when it comes to his concert performances, he’ll give his all, but when it comes to wardrobe, “who he is with you” stays pretty consistent throughout the show! (AUDIO INFO BELOW)
- “Who I Am with You” is the second single from Chris’ terrific A.M. album, which also features the hit debut single, “Aw Naw.”
- Chris is about to play some shows overseas, as he heads to Ireland (March 15th) and England (March 16th) to play the C2C (Country to Country) Festival. And while Chris has been overseas before, he says that this trip will be extra cool, but don’t expect him to fall into a British accent! (AUDIO INFO BELOW)
- Following the C2C dates, Chris will be heading to Norway and Sweden with Brad Paisley! For a complete list of upcoming Chris tour dates, check out the events page of ChrisYoungCountry.com.
Chris Young smiles as he says that he keeps his on-stage wardrobe pretty straightforward. (:15)
“I don’t know if I’m a costume-change kind of guy, I will say that. I don’t think I’ve…I don’t really do that. Even coming back for a encore, you know, people have seen me get, you know, sweat through the entire show, I might as well just stay as I am!”
(A special thanks to Albright & O’Malley & Brenner’s Dan Van for sharing the following soundbite!)
Chris Young talks about going back to England. (:41)
“I would never attempt a British accent because I have been around British people who made fun of me attempting a British accent, so I actually just went over to London and the U.K., and you know, we hit a couple different spots over there, so this’ll be the first time I’m takin’ my band over, which is the thing that I’m most excited about. I believe mainly what we’re doin’ is the C2C Festival they do over there every year, so it’s gonna be exciting. It’s gonna be one of those things that is a moment for my band. You know, this year as well, when I went over there, I also did a completely separate thing where I did take my band; we went to Australia. It’s one of the cooler things seein’ how country music is actually probably more global right now than it ever has been.”
