If you’ve had a big wedding, you were probably involved in picking the songs that got played that day, and Chris Young takes it as a compliment anytime someone tells him that one of his songs found its way into their wedding day. But of all the things he’s recorded, Chris says that his latest hit, “Who I Am with You,” may just be the one that takes the cake for top wedding song. (AUDIO INFO BELOW)

• Last week, Chris announced that his annual fan club party will be held aboard Nashville’s General Jackson Showboat on June 5th. The event will include a full-band show and a personal meet-and-greet with Chris, as well as a reserved seat, dinner buffet, and a gift. Chris’ fan club has supported a number of charities over the years, and this year has pledged to raise $30,000 to assist the Nashville School of the Arts with upcoming projects. “I have had a lot of songs that people have come up and said, you know, ‘We played this at our wedding.’ Even songs like ‘Gettin’ You Home’…I’ve had people come up and go, like, ‘Yeah, man, this was the first song we danced to. We had to play it at the wedding!’ But as far as something that is truly and just almost unapologetically could be your first-dance song at a wedding, ‘Who I Am with You’ is probably the closest thing I’ve had to that. I just think that this song, if it does exactly what I think it will to other people the first time it did to me when I listened to the song, this will probably be played at some weddings.”
