“Drinkin’ Me Lonely” was the big hit that put Chris Young on the map, and with the release of his first album, fans really got to know his warm, rich voice…and you knew that this was a guy who had the goods to deliver a seriously sexy song. And Chris has got another huge hit in the making with his new single, “Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song).” All about a romantic dinner that just can’t end too soon, the song’s sultry groove and that line about “seein’ your black dress hit the floor” are bound to fog up a few windows. It’s a flat-out great song that Chris co-wrote…and fans are telling him it’s their favorite from his shows. But there was one review he wasn’t expecting, especially given the steamy lyric. “I think it’s great that we’ve had a lot of people come up and say that’s their favorite song that we play. And it’s something that is so funny ’cause I played this for my grandparents, and it’s my grandmother’s favorite song, which just makes me really concerned! (laughs) I don’t know whether I should take that as a plus or a minus…I don’t know. (laughs)”
