Chris Young is very thankful that “Think Of You” is a number-one song. Chris is not only excited that this is his 8th number-one, but he loves that he gets to share it with Cassadee Pope, and that it’s her first trip to the top of the song charts. Chris admits that “Think Of You” is “one of my favorite songs that got a chance to record”–of course he knows that just because he likes a song, doesn’t always mean that it will translate into success. But with the power of the song, and the power of the vocal performances from Chris and Cassadee, fans connected with “Think Of you” and helped it go all the way to number-one.

“I said from day one of me she was my first choice for this the song just because of how vocally powerful it is, and vocally powerful she is…I’m just glad that she wanted to be a part of it, and it’s been a really cool thing. We actually were flying all over the place did that a couple different things that had us hopping on planes to get back-and-forth you know went out and did Stagecoach West Coast, and did a couple other shows where we got to perform the song, when we knew it was about the hit one. Which is pretty special.”
