Chris Young has had the opportunity to work with a bunch of legendary artists so far in his career. He’s been on tour with George Strait, Alan Jackson, and Blake Shelton to mention just a few, but who is the one artist Chris has yet to hit the road with that he really wants to…Kenny Chesney. Chris says Kenny even called to congratulate him when he got his first number-one…the funny part is, Chris didn’t believe it was Kenny, he thought he was getting pranked.

“The one guy for me that’s out there…I’ve been so lucky to work with, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts and Jason Aldean. I’ve been so incredibly lucky to check off so many names that were on that I want to work or I want to tour with so and so. The guy that called and told me congrats on my first number one, and I didn’t think it was him, I thought they were playing a practical joke on me…was Kenny Chesney. I actually have never done a show with Chesney before, so hopefully at some point in the near future I’ll be able to check that off the list too.”
