Chris Young is headed to the C2C music festival with this week’s number-one song in country music! “Sober Saturday Night” hitting the number-one spot before the trip took a big load off of Chris’ mind, as he admits that if it didn’t hit number-one he would have been checking on it the whole time over there. Now, he can truly relax and enjoy his time in Europe. Of course, the big winner of not having to worry about the status of “Sober Saturday Night”? Chris’ wallet. He jokes “It definitely takes the edge off. I’m not going to be checking Billboard or Media Base every five seconds while I’m in Europe. I’m sure my phone bill will appreciate it.” You can follow all of Chris Young’s concert dates, in Europe or here in the U.S. by going to Chris Young Country dot com, or just click right HERE
Chris Young is thankful that “Sober Saturday Night” hit number-one before his trip overseas to the C2C festival. (:37)
“This is definitely nice. When we were looking kind of at the timeline of when the song might go for the number-one push, there was talk that it would be when I was in Europe, and I would have stressed out the entire time I was there. So, being able to get on the plane to Europe, knowing that we are going to be able to do all of these great shows in the O2 in London, Dublin and Glasgow. Get to be over there with Brad Paisley who is a really great buddy and somebody I’ve toured with before. It definitely takes the edge off. I’m not going to be checking Billboard or Media Base every five seconds while I’m in Europe. I’m sure my phone bill will appreciate it.”
