CHRIS YOUNG: Diggin’ the Doodle

The New York Daily News writes of last week’s passing of 90-year-old Morrie Yohai, a man who had a variety of roles in life, but may well best be remembered as the creator of the classic snack, the Cheez Doodle…which happens to be a sentimental favorite for Chris Young. Chris tells us he’s a Doodler from way back, and he offers a tip of the hat to a tasty creation that has stood the test of time. (AUDIO INFO BELOW)

  • Chris is on the radio now with his latest single, “Voices,” one more great song from his album, The Man I Want to Be, which also includes back-to-back number-one hits with the title track and “Gettin’ You Home.”
  • Fun Fact: According to cheezdoodles.com, if lined up end to end, the Cheez Doodles produced in a single year would stretch for about 72 miles!

I mean, you know, it’s one of those things that, at least for me bein’ a kid, I totally remember, all the time.”
