Chris Young fans will have an extra gift in their stockings hung with care this year–a Chris Young Christmas album. While he’s climbing the charts with the very un-christmasy “Sober Saturday Night,” Chris revealed that he’s in the studio working on an album with music from his favorite time of the year. He didn’t give many details, but Chris promised that as the album came together he’d share more information.

“We are making a Christmas record, I am so excited, you know Christmas is one of my favorite times of year, I have so many Christmas songs I want to do it was hard to narrow it down to this album, but I will definitely have more news as we get closer to time. Obviously, I’m just happy that this year will be the first year you guys can put an entire Christmas album of mine in the CD player or on your I phone, wherever you listen to music.”
