CHRIS YOUNG: A Little Airport Salsa

With Thanksgiving and the busy holiday travel season almost here, Chris Young takes a practical and characteristically good-natured approach to air travel. He tells us he’s definitely a “carry-on” kind of guy, and when it comes to downtime in the airport, you can be watching the snack bars for our hero, who’s likely to be chilling with some chips and salsa. (AUDIO INFO BELOW)

  • Chris recently scored his very first number-one smash with “Gettin’ You Home,” from his terrific second album, The Man I Want to Be…incidentally a great holiday gift!

CHRIS YOUNG: A Little Airport Salsa  Chris Young is very practical in his approach to airline travel. (:11)
“If I can carry it on, I love to carry on as much stuff as I can. I hate checking bags. But if I have to, I always carry on my guitar and my hat. That way I at least have those. I can play a show with those two things.”

CHRIS YOUNG: A Little Airport Salsa  Chris Young will usually be at a snack bar when he has time to kill in an airport. (:10)
“I kill time in an airport. I usually go eat. That’s my problem. If I’m stuck in an airport, I go find (laughs) somewhere to sit down and order a Coke and some chips and salsa or somethin’. Just sit there and munch on somethin’.”
