Chase Rice admits that he’s come around on his thoughts on Thanksgiving. You see, for a while all he had was bad ones. From being sick, to being shot in his foot with a BB pellet, to being sick again. But, he’s realized all the good parts about the day…food and football! Chase says that it’s even better when you don’t have to prepare the food! So, now according to Chase, Thanksgiving is one of the best days of the year!

  Chase Rice explains his journey from not liking Thanksgiving, to thinking it’s one of the best days of the year. (:45)
“Thanksgiving used to be the worst holiday ever…cause, like for three years in a row, I was really sick one year, I got shot in the foot by my friend with a bb gun, and got stuck in my foot, and had to get it surgically removed or whatever. Another year and then I was really sick the next or whatever, but the older I’ve gotten is Thanksgiving is awesome. You get to go, you get to have food that you don’t even have to prepare. I don’t have to anyway…family, you know mom or whatever does it, but you get the best meal you could possibly have, and it’s in the fall and the most important part…you get football. You get usually I think the Cowboys, Lions, Packers someway play on Thanksgiving Day but it is awesome to see football on TV on Thanksgiving Thursdays. It’s to me one of the best days of the year.”
