CHASE RICE: Everybody We Know Sings Along

audio

Chase Rice has a new song out called “Everybody We Know Does”–and he thinks from the reaction of the first time he played it in front of a crowd, it could be a big it. Chase says that even on the first day the song became available to fans, he performed it and by the third time he came around to the chorus of “Everybody We Know Does” the fans that came out to see him in Tulsa, Oklahoma were singing along! While he didn’t write the song, Chase feels that it represents the way he grew up, and still lives today…that’s why it’s so easy for him to believe in what he’s singing, and Chase thinks that translates to the crowd in a big way.

audio  Chase Rice tells the story about the first time he sang “Everybody We Know Does” at a show. (:49)
“Sang it live for the first time in Cain’s ballroom the other night in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We were almost getting goosebumps singing it in sound check, and then the crowd got there, and by the third time we come around to ‘Everybody We Know Does,’ everybody is singing along because we sing that hook so many times, and we even start the song with that hook. I don’t know what it is about ‘Everybody We Know Does’ it’s just those words, when they get in your head, they can’t leave your head, and melodically it just sings so well, the words are there. Everybody’s believing me because I’m believing what I’m singing, and by the third or fourth time we get around to that hook like I said they’re singing along. Not to mention it was the first day the song came out so I was pretty impressed with how many people actually already knew the song, but this song, just the feeling you get when you’re on stage singing it, the crowd just comes to life and you can’t beat that.”
