CHASE RICE: Everybody We Know…Loves College Football

audio

The time has come that millions of people have been waiting for–the kick-off to the college football season! This weekend fans will pack stadiums, and huddle around TVs to watch their favorite teams. One of those college football fans that has been waiting is Chase Rice, and he says that he actually has two college teams that he pulls for–the one he played for, and one from his childhood. Chase played at North Carolina and wore the Tar Heels uniform, but remembering his time from growing up in Florida, he also still pulls for the Florida Gators. Chase says that he loves his Tar Heels, but “the kid in me always screams Florida Gators on on Saturday.”

Chase will be catching a lot of these games on the road this fall as he has his own season coming up–his touring season. Chase’s Everybody We Know Does tour–which shares the name of his current single–kicks off next week and runs through to the end of the year. “I’m a big college football guy. Love, love my North Carolina Tar Heels, I played football there for five years, and gave that university my life you know, and they get a lot back to me, and the Tar Heels are my team. But, I grew up a Florida Gator. I grew up down in Florida, before I moved to North Carolina and so I’m always been a gator fan. The kid in me always screams Florida Gators on on Saturday.”
