CHASE RICE: Chicago…It’s Chase’s Kind Of Town

audio

This weekend Chase Rice is headed to a town he can never forget…Chicago. Chase will perform the pre-race concert for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400, the first race in the Chase (no pun intended) for The NASCAR Sprint Cup on this Sunday, September 18th. Chase Rice remembers Chicago for 2 special reasons…first, it’s where he had his very first sold-out show. Second, it’s where he went skydiving for the first, and as Chase says “hopefully the only time I ever do it.” We doubt Chase will be jumping out of a perfectly good airplane again this weekend, but…just in case you want to see what it looked like the first time he did it, click HERE

audio  Chase Rice explains why he can never forget Chicago. (:37)
“Chicago is actually where I had my first sold out show that I’ve ever had. I was at Joe’s bar, and we sold it out…we pre-sold it out before even got there, so I’ll always have a great memory of Chicago because of my first ever sold out show. I also played Chicagoland, which for me the reason it was so special was I did something I never thought I was ever going to do…I swore on my life that I would never skydive, and Chicago right outside of downtown Chicago I went over to Chicagoland, and skydived for the first time, hopefully the only time I ever do it, but I’ve got a lot of special memories in Chicago for those reasons, first sold out show, I skydived there, so I will never forget Chicago.”
