audio  Carrie Underwood says that challenging songs can make for cool songs in concert. (:39)
“I’m not really sure why I continue to write (laughs) and pick songs that are really difficult vocally. You’d think I’d give myself a break occasionally. It’s never a plan when we go in to make things difficult, vocally, or challenging or anything, but it’s kind of like, ‘I got this many notes to work with. We might as well (laughs) use as many of ’em as possible!’ So it just kind of happens. I’m gonna…yeah, I’m gonna probably be hatin’ myself when I’m takin’ some of these songs out on tour, but, in the end, it just…it makes for a lot of really, really fun energy and fun moments.”
