Congratulations to Carrie Underwood on this week’s news that her Greatest Hits: Decade #1 has been RIAA certified Platinum! That makes Carrie the only country artist – and one of only six artists in any genre of music – to release an album to Platinum success since her album came out in December of 2014!

  • Carrie’s 25-song hits collection introduced two new number-one singles: the GRAMMY®-winning “Something in the Water,” as well as “Little Toy Guns,” the song that earned Carrie her current GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Solo Performance!
  • “Little Toy Guns” has since been RIAA certified Gold, while “Something in the Water” – a seven-week number-one smash on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart – is now Platinum.
  • At the time of its release, Carrie’s Greatest Hits: Decade #1 debuted at number-one on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart with first-week sales of 94,000 according to Nielsen Music, becoming the best-selling debut for a hits collection by an artist in any genre of music in more than six years. According to Billboard, it also became the best-selling hits collection of 2015!
  • Carrie is currently climbing the charts with her beautiful new single, “Heartbeat,” from her already-Gold-certified Storyteller album.
  • Carrie is currently in rehearsals for The Storyteller Tour — Stories in the Round, her new arena headline tour, launching January 30th. Tickets and info are available now at AEGLive.com.
