audio  Carrie Underwood talks about heading to Ireland and England this week. (:33)
“We were able to take the tour to London and to Australia last year, a little bit, and now we’re going back for the C2C Music Festival at the O2 Arena, and it’s just a fantastic line-up, and I’m so interested to see what a country music festival in London looks like. You know what I mean? And of course, we also get to go to Ireland for a couple shows which I’ve never been to Ireland before, so I’m excited to be able to go someplace with this tour that I’ve never seen before.”

audio  Carrie Underwood usually doesn’t mix too much touring and tourism. (:29)
“I always get asked the question, you know, ‘We’re in Ireland, we’re in London — do you want to stay a couple extra days and go see things?’ And I’m like, ‘I’d really rather come back when I’m not working — with my husband.’ And so I’m gonna, like, walk around the, you know, streets of Ireland by myself — you know what I mean? So, we try to see things as we go, but I’m really going over to just meet people and be on stage. Next time, I’ll go stay a proper vacation.”

audio  Carrie Underwood shares her feelings about Blown Away being nominated for ACM Album of the Year. (:27)
“It’s really cool to be nominated in Album. It’s kind of the culmination of, you know, everything that…all the writing, all the recording — even touring, I feel like, you know, ’cause people get excited about it, people want to go see it. It kind of all goes into Album. If there’s no buzz around it, then, yeah, you…it’s everything! So, it’s gonna be really, really cool. I’m gonna be really nervous when that category comes up, for sure.”
