Carrie Underwood launched The Storyteller Tour – Stories in the Round this past Friday night, playing to a sold-out crowd of nearly 14,000 fans at Florida’s Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. It’s Carrie’s first “in the round” tour, placing the stage in the center of the arena floor. A review in The Florida Times-Union said that the 360-degree design “had the effect of providing front-row seats for hundreds of fans. Lasers and swaying spotlights and fireworks and explosions all added to the spectacle. But make no mistake, Underwood was the star of the show.”
