Brooks & Dunn and their pal and “Cowgirls Don’t Cry” singing partner Reba McEntire have all known one other for years, and there’s a lot of shared history and common ground among them, but when Brooks & Dunn hit the road and really travel the country, Kix Brooks says it’s fascinating to see how our differences and similarities as people all seem to come together around music. In any given stretch of a tour, Kix says, the guys might play all across the nation, soaking up the diversity and personalities of the towns and the people, but at the same time, “to think they all dig the same music.
