BRAD PAISLEY: Waitin’ on a Wonton?

Brad Paisley made chart history this week when he hit number-one with his latest smash, “Waitin’ on a Woman,” which becomes his eighth consecutive chart-topper — more than any other country artist in the past 18 years! It’s a huge accomplishment, but there’s another one that may top it: surviving really bad tour food. Brad remembers the days on the road when the meals at civic centers and tour venues were just “not edible for a long time because…it was pot luck per city.” Luckily, things are better for Brad and everyone on tour with him now that they’re taking their own catering on the road. (AUDIO INFO BELOW)

  • Brad’s The Paisley Party Tour, with guests Jewel and Chuck Wicks, continues in high gear, with upcoming shows in Atlanta (9/18), Tampa (9/19), and West Palm Beach (9/20).
  • And Chuck Wicks is on board to vouch for the catering! He says it’s one of the great things that keeps him going on the road! (See related story!)

BRAD PAISLEY: Waitin’ on a Wonton?  Brad Paisley says that having catering on tour has been a life-saver for everyone. (:42)
“Touring has become another playground for me in the sense that it’s another piece of the Disneyland puzzle for me. It’s Disneyland. You know, we get all the toys we want in terms of the production, and we now have our own catering, which is a big deal because, boy, was it…it was not edible for a long time because we were just…it was pot luck per city. It was like, you know, you’d go into a building, and the civic arena would have its own caterer, and all of them think…they all thought they were original with chicken and ravioli. It’s like, every day, geez, how much more can we eat of that? And bad chicken and ravioli…it wasn’t even good…so that’s fun.”
