“I can’t wait. Yeah, and I am…I’ve become very good friends with Zach Quinto, who is Spock, and I have it on good authority from he and a couple of people that I am friends with that it’s one of the coolest movies you’re ever gonna see. And I, from the reviews…have you seen the reviews? They say, it’s just about, it’s like, hang on. It’s really good. And that’s been a while, and I’m really excited to see that. Maybe this will reboot the whole thing, and that’d be great, ’cause I didn’t want to see it die.”

“I got a friend that is business partners with Zach, and he got to see it early and called me and said, ‘Look, I was not a Star Trek fan growin’ up. This is one of the coolest movies I’ve ever seen. And I was not a Star Trek fan. It doesn’t matter. Whether you like it or not, you’re gonna flip out.'”

“He and I got to be good friends when he came and did the Opry during the debates, and he invited me. He said, ‘I want you to sit at my table,’ and he was just great. And I can’t wait. You know, it’s just as much fun just to hang out with him for the evening, and see it through his eyes, you know, what he’s seen, as a journalist…it’s crazy.”
