A couple of years ago Brad Paisley converted an old farm house on his property in Tennessee into a home studio. When you walk in, you notice a lot of super hero based memorabilia and artwork…knowing he has two sons, we asked if the decor was for his boys, or for him, “That’d be for me… the boys love it… but I wanted this house to feel like a fun place to be…and it really is.” Brad also explained by the super hero theme, “I wanted it to feel like a fun house, I mean I could have priceless art on the walls, but why? No one would appreciate that in my redneck group. I could have a real Picasso down there and they’d be like, why is that lady’s nose over on the side of her head? Not only that but I wouldn’t really want to look at what I want to look at is great vintage Iron Man comic cover that’s blown up and on the wall…or there’s some great art by a guy down there that sort of is shadow art where there’s a little kid and his shadow is Iron Man and I love that where he’s got the… There’s this little kid and he’s got a flashlight on one hand and he’s wearing a cardboard box but the reflection is Iron Man and I forget that artist’s name but he does great work and I bought a bunch of those to hang up.” That artist Brad couldn’t recall is Jason Ratliff, and the Iron Man pic Brad mentioned is below. If you want to decorate your house like Brad’s studio, you can go to Jason Ratliff’s website and get your own super hero artwork HERE And you want any and everything Brad, head to Brad Paisley dot com, or just click HERE
Brad answers if the super hero artwork around his home studio is to entertain his sons or himself. (:61)
