BRAD PAISLEY: On the Road Again

Brad Paisley had a lot to celebrate last week with a number-one country debut with his new album, This Is Country Music, a number-one single for the second week with “Old Alabama,” and the launch of his H2O 2: Wetter & Wilder World Tour, which kicked off on Friday! And one of the artists joining Brad on tour again is Jerrod Niemann, who hit the road with him earlier this year on his H2O Frozen Over Tour. For Brad, it’s a great feeling to be able to share his audience by introducing some of them to talented rising stars like Jerrod. (AUDIO INFO BELOW)

  • Likewise, Jerrod Niemann recently had nothing but good things to say about headliner Brad: http://prep.hearsomethingcountry.com/2011/05/19/jerrod-niemann-about-to-be-wetter-wilder/.
  • Brad talks with us about his H2O 2: Wetter & Wilder World Tour, which began under happier circumstances than last year’s H2O World Tour, when losses of gear and equipment from the flooding in Nashville made the 2010 launch a major challenge. (AUDIO INFO BELOW)
  • More than 35,000 fans attended the opening weekend of Brad’s new tour! For upcoming tour dates, visit bradpaisley.com!

BRAD PAISLEY: On the Road Again  Brad Paisley talks about welcoming Jerrod Niemann on tour again this season. (:32)
“Jerrod’s out: that ought to be great. He’s a great guy. I’ve known him a long time, and he’s on the same label, and he’s just so talented. He was out for a few shows this early part of this year, and gettin’ to have him the rest of the year is gonna be…we’re really lucky to have him. I mean, he’s entertaining people, and he does such a great job of bringing what he does to a lot of new fans. And being so new, obviously not everyone is familiar with him, so I love bein’ able to give that opportunity to guys like him.”

BRAD PAISLEY: On the Road Again  Brad Paisley is excited about his new tour. (:36)
“This tour is gonna be our expansion of what we did last year. It’s different. It’s gonna be a lot of new things ’cause it’s a new album, but it’s the same theme, which is the summer’s…summer outdoor water theme, and I loved it. I loved it last year, and I felt like we needed a re-start after having started with a flood and everything else, and it’s like, ‘Okay, now we’re gonna do this where there are no natural disasters in our way. We’re gonna go do this without those hiccups.’ And…’cause it went so well with…even with those that I can’t imagine what we can accomplish if we have smooth sailing.”
