BRAD PAISLEY: Mood Setter

audio

Well, it’s February now. That means in 2 weeks some people will be the heroes of their love life, and others, well…

Some Valentiners might use music to set the mood, and some of those might use one of the many great loves songs that Brad Paisley has made over the years…not including “Ticks.” But when it comes to using music to set the mood, Brad passes. The reason? Brad says “Music is too much a part of my life, as a job to be used all that much as far as . . . I don’t know it’s just too close to who I am.” The one exception? Ole Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra. But Brad is perfectly fine with you using his music, like his song “Today” to set the mood for your special day.

audio  Brad Paisley explains why he doesn’t use music to set the mood. (:37)
“Not music, probably. Music is too much a part of my life, as a job to be used all that much as far as . . . I don’t know it’s just too close to who I am. Silence is a little more, is a little easier, to be productive for me. Music is sorta like, I hear music and it’s like, unless its background music like Frank Sinatra or something like that, that’s cool. I don’t know. For me, I’m probably the person that uses music the least in real life.”
