IS_2019_EPK_Paisley_a04 (:31) On the different genres and guests
Brad Paisley:
“We got the Jonas Brothers, they’re obviously the pop spectrum of this. We have my stuff. We’ve got bluegrassy stuff. We’ve got, you know, what Kelsea’s doing is really bluegrassy for her song- it’s really cool, great arrangement. You know, and then Hootie and the Blowfish, which that’s rock from the nineties that now almost feels like country to me and same with Darius. He’s had a really successful country career so… We prove that sort of musical sort of identity I think of Nashville, which is basically all are welcome.”

BIS_2019_EPK_Paisley_a05 (:34) On the humor of the show
Brad Paisley:
“Any comic will tell you that it comes from being completely and totally vulnerable and realizing that you can defend yourself really well if you fight back with humor. And I was that kid growing up that would- I wasn’t the loudest or the class clown or anything like that, but I was looking for that angle always. And, as a songwriter it really started to come out in my songwriting because I found myself- even my most serious songs, some of them have, you know, a smile to them.”

BIS_2019_EPK_Paisley_a06 (:18) On why audiences will want to watch
Brad Paisley:
I hope they feel the gamut of emotions. I hope that they are moved by some of the- like we’ve got some touching songs that deal with really serious things and you’ll see what that is. And, I also hope I crack them up.”
