“I am so happy to be here I love Texas a lot, first of all I love coming here, I love the food. A lot of the food. So it’s great to be in Texas, it’s great to be at the ACM Awards. I’m so lucky to be at the table and be nominated so it’s unbelievable.”
“The fact that our genre is being broadcasted all over the world is incredible. More and more awareness to country music I think country music is taking over you know it’s becoming pop, you know in some ways you know it seems like. And it’s just like these festivals are getting bigger and bigger and bigger so I just love seeing country music win. It’s amazing it’s the best genre on the planet.”
OLD DOMINION:
“We’re just grateful to be like along riding that wave for sure.”
“The advice I think that we always give sounds so kind of cheesy and cliche. But the truth of the matter is you have to write music and play music that moves you. And if it’s speaking to your heart, then it’s going to speak to someone else’s heart. And trying to chase after what you think someone else is going to be moved by is the wrong is the wrong move. But if you go inside yourself, create something that moves you, people are really going to resonate with it and you’ll reap the benefits.”
“We are going to… we’re going to Applebee’s. We have you know, we’re in Frisco, Texas. There’s not a lot around here. No, no, you know, we’re not dogging on Frisco. It’s just usually these awards are in Vegas. And there’s lots of bars and venues and stuff to have after parties, but there’s an Applebee’s like three miles from here. And so we called them and said, we’re bringing as many people as we possibly can. Get ready. So that’s where we’re going.“
“I think the very first ACM we ever attended though, was in Texas. That’s right. Yeah, that’s right. We were just audience members though. Yeah, I remember getting, we got this really, we got these really nice suits as the first time we ever came. We were not nominated at all, had this white suit, and you and I went and got hot dogs during the show. And I spilled mustard all over my white suit.”
“Yeah it’s just you know further validation that we’re, our gut is taking us on the right track, you know? We’re making the music we want to make and people are liking it and we just get to keep doing what we’re doing.“
COREY KENT
“Ironically, I live here in Frisco. So I think it’s really cool and important for the community here to get a taste of the real country music community that is, that is coming in in droves and it’s obviously a really cool thing for just locals to be able to see this caliber of Country Music.”

“It’s a dream come true you know as young kids I know that everyone in this room, all artists just want to be a part of country music. And this is one of the one of the biggest days in country music and we couldn’t be more blessed to just be here and be amongst our heroes and just our peers and new artists it feels like a dream come true honestly.”
