ANDREW JANNAKOS: Now calls the Music City home (Audio)
Andrew Jannakos recently made the move to Nashville. Hear from Jannakos about the move to Music City and what it means to him.
It’s pretty incredible to be in Nashville finally. You know, it’s been a long- I say a long time coming and it really hasn’t been that long if you really think about it. It’s really incredible, a couple of days ago I took a picture and I posted it on Instagram and a year and a day to the day that I posted the exact same picture in the exact same location and, with the capture of ‘May make this city home soon.” And, it’s pretty incredible that a year later I made Nashville home. And, I’m so excited to be in town finally and get to play some writers’ rounds. I have one next week actually I’m really excited about with Rob Wilford and some really good guys. And, I’m just so excited to get to work and to continue to make good music, man. It’s really incredible to be in the position that I can write with some of the guys I’ve got to write with and make some of these songs and have people connect to them so quickly and so well. It’s really like a dream come true, man. You know, Katie (wife) and Bren (son) aren’t here yet, but they will be here next week. Once we all get settle in, I’m sure we’ll settle in quickly, and just because we’re so used to Nashville, but yeah we’re really excited to see what 2021 brings and you know this is just the beginning hopefully. Hopefully we got a long time coming to be able to make great music for everybody that wants to listen to it. And, you know, we appreciate everybody streams and love and support. That’s why we do it.
