Hear from Miranda Lambert on her latest single ‘Keeper of the Flame,’ talking about the sense of responsibility she feels to inspire others.

“Hey y’all, it’s Miranda Lambert.  I just wanted to say a few words about ‘Keeper of the Flame,’ my new single. And, it’s a song that is very near and dear to my heart.  I wrote it with two great friends Natalie Hemby and Liz Rose.  We just wrote it from the perspective of someone that’s so grateful to be carrying the torch for only for a short time, but really not taking it lightly and our heroes before us have laid out these paths and blazed these trails for us to get to do what we love.  And, our obligation is to make sure that we inspire others, so… I hope the message of this song comes across and I hope that it encourages everybody, people of all ages and all walks of life to believe in themselves and to know that it really matters.”
