Kenny Chesney‘s album Live! In No Shoes Nation has a lot of special moments for it’s listeners, and Kenny says he really only had one motive behind getting this collection of live tracks out for people to hear, “I really believe that music is best when its shared, and there’s several shared moments on this live record that I’m very proud of.” Along with Grace Potter, David Lee Murphy, Dave Matthews, and many others, one of the other great shared performances that Kenny wanted to get to his fans was the moment he had on stage with Eric Church. Eric joined Kenny out on the road in 2003, and it was their performance of “When I see This Bar” that was one of the highlights that Kenny wanted to make sure people didn’t miss, “I can tell you that moment every night was very authentic and special because I know that Eric lived this song to because he called me one night when the song came out and said ‘god I love When I See This Bar’ and I said well if we’re really going to do this and tour next year then you’re going to get up and sing it with me and he goes that’s a done deal because I really felt like it was a song that he really connected to and I could tell when he got up on stage every night it was a part of his heart also and I’m very proud that I got to sing this song every night with Eric Church and that we actually thought to record it in Foxboro Massachusetts the last night of the 2013 tour.” For more info on Kenny’s music and his upcoming 2018 Trip Around The Sun tour, head to Kenny Chesney dot com, or just click HERE
