As the 51st Annual Country Music Association awards is quickly approaching this Wednesday the 8th, Luke Combs is gearing up for his first CMA appearance as a nominee for the New Artist of the Year award. Luke shares, “First CMA’s yeah man, going as a nominee is super cool man you don’t really expect that to happen, I don’t think I think that’s not a normal thing but I’m stoked man I’m stoked to see what happens”. With hits like “Hurricane” and “When It Rains It Pours”, fans can all agree that he has a pretty good shot at winning. Moreover, he is most excited about planning to have his parents in town to enjoy the award ceremony and take it all in. Luke says, “Yeah man and I asked them if they wanted to go and obviously they were ecstatic to get to go with me and watch that stuff so it should be fun man I’m hoping that they can kind of take it in so they’ll be in town for a few days and that should be exciting to kind of have them there and you know hopefully they enjoy it.”
