Kane Brown performed in front of an audience yesterday that he never thought he would ever be in front of…United States lawmakers. Kane has partnered with Make Room USA to bring the rental housing crisis affecting the country. Kane knows from first hand how tough it can be, as he and his mom once lived in a car for a period of time. Now thanks to his success with songs like “What Ifs” Kane can help shine a light on this very serious issue, “I just think it’s awesome to actually be where I’m at in life right now and have a voice for those that don’t have a voice at all and to have an organization that’s nonprofit helping others and them also giving a voice.” But did he ever think his career would take him to where he was yesterday “No, I never thought doing covers would get me to testify in front of Congress, it’s kind of crazy but I think it’s awesome that it’s got me here and that I can give people a voice that need it.” Kane posted a picture of his experience on his Twitter account, which you can see below, or just click HERE
