Old Dominion has a number-one song for the second week in a row with “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart,” and now they also have a number-one album, with Happy Endings! Bassist Geoff Sprung shares ““I feel like every six months there’s some moment where I go, ‘If this is as big as it gets, that’s fine. That’s been a good run. And I’ve been doing that now for five or six years?” Lead singer Matthew Ramsey adds, “We say it every night on the stage, and I mean it every night. We all do, how appreciative we are that we made one album and its because they liked it that we get to make another one. They keep coming to shows, they keep learning the songs, they keep obviously making them a part of their life so…we are so appreciative and so grateful of everyday that we get to do this.” Along with have a number-one song and album this week, the guys also learned that they have two CMA Award nominations, for Vocal Group Of The Year, and New Artist Of The Year. To celebrate all this good news, the guys are releasing their new single, “Written In The Sand”–which is the second song off of Happy Endings to hit country radio.
