When fans hear “Greatest Love Story” from LANCO, they easily relate to the story line, because it’s one that so many people have lived. LANCO lead singer Brandon Lancaster says that not only did he observe stories like he sings about in the song, but he also lived it, “I grew up in Smyrna, Tennessee…so, small town in Tennessee, and ‘Greatest Love Story’ just kind of came from observing. Songwriting can be both experiencing and observing, and kind of a combination of the two, so this was kind of a combination of the two. I’ve been in a relationship that stared with us living in the same place and then she moved away, and did the long distant thing for a while, and separated for a time, and then kind of came back together.  So, that aspect of it is very true to me.
