Old Dominion‘s brand new album Happy Endings arrives in stores and online next Friday, August 25th. While fans can already hear their hit song “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart” as it climbs the music charts, you can also get the tracks “Written In The Sand,” “Shoe Shopping,” and “Be With Me” right now when you pre-order the album! This Friday “Not Everything’s About You” joins the list of songs that fans can hear instantly when they buy the album! Plus, if you check out the cover for Happy Endings, you’ll notice some musical clues when it comes to matching up the images and the lyrics to the songs on the album. Old Dominion lead singer Matthew Ramsey admits that on the cover “There’s a little lyrical cues in there.” Matthew adds, “We had this whole idea about cross stitch sampler thing. I kind of just thought about the songs and the lyrics and kind of just wrote down whatever images popped into my head from the songs and sent them over to the artists and out pops this amazing cover.”
All that cross stitching lead to a very interesting partnership with Old Dominion and Singer Sewing Machines.
