Following the recent news that her album The Weight Of These Wings went Platinum, Miranda Lambert is now celebrating that her song “Vice” is also now certified Platinum! “Vice” was the first song that fans got to hear off of Miranda’s double album that was released last November, which would go on to win ACM Album Of The Year back in April. Miranda admits that when it comes to any of her music, she never really plans for it to have a different sound, “I don’t go into it going ‘I’m going to be different, I’m gonna make my records sound different than everyone else’s’…it’s just is who I am. It’s just whatever comes naturally.” Miranda credits some of her recording success to her producer Frank Liddell, who has been with Miranda since her debut album Kerosene, “You know, with Frank Liddell in the studio, he’s really open to anything, and we kind of just let the music lead and let the musicians do what they do. It’s why you have musicians of that stature playing on your albums. So it’s not a conscious decision to do certain things, it’s just what feels right.” Miranda’s latest song from The Weight Of These Wings, “Tin Man” is climbing the country music charts, and you can check out her very powerful performance of it from this year’s ACM Awards at Miranda Lambert dot com, or just click HERE
