Chris Young doesn’t always get to relax at a bar-b-que and watch a fireworks during holiday weekends, instead he gets to put on shows of his own! While some of us took advantage of a long weekend vacation, Chris talks about how he normally is out on the road during these times, “Yea, most of those weekends specifically when you look at Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July. That’s work time. (laugh) Everybody else is kind of getting a chance to relax a little but as a musician normally you’re playing somewhere.” Chris has a busy schedule lined up in cities all over the map which makes it hard to schedule summer plans. “its always tricky trying to work that out with everybody else going ‘We’re going to have a bar-b-que. Are you going to come over?’ I’m going to be in you know middle of the country, or I’m gonna be in Seattle. You kind of never know.” If you want to see one of Chris’ holiday weekend worthy performances, check out all of his tour dates at Chris Young Country dot com, or just click HERE
Chris Young shares that most long weekends are times for him to work, not relax. (:31)
