Luke Combs struck musical gold with his first single “Hurricane” hitting the number-one spot for back to back weeks–and now on Friday people will get to hear even more of his music! Luke’s debut album This One’s For You arrives in stores and on line this Friday June 2nd. What can fans expect musically for Luke, “The album as a whole is kind of a hodge-podge of a lot of different sounds and I think that just speaks to, you know, my musical background; my parents listened to everything growing up.” Luke does admit there are two big influences though that help shape his sound “As far as country music goes, I was hugely influenced by the 1990’s and then I was kind of out for a while until Eric Church came along and I heard him. So it’s kind of a mix of everything, I call it post-Eric Church and 1990’s.
