Chris Young is not “Losing Sleep” yet! While the song arrived for downloads and streaming this past Friday, and some radio stations have started playing it, Chris shares why his has not played it in concert yet, “I have not played ‘Losing Sleep’ live yet. I’m waiting until it hits radio…at least for several records now, I don’t play stuff early, because once you play it then it’s on Youtube, and then people have heard it. I’d rather people hear it the very first time done completely produced, and how I mean to present it to them, and then we can play it live and do whatever the heck we want to on stage with it (laugh).” That makes sense, Chris doesn’t want someone’s first experience with the song to be a version where “Losing Sleep” doesn’t sound it’s best. So, that was kind of my idea…plus we actually had one of my musicians was subbed out this weekend, so I didn’t want this to be the first weekend we played the new single…cause, one, people don’t know it yet. Two, it’s not on the radio yet, and three, we had a sub guy out, so it just makes it easier.
