Miranda Lambert continues her streak as ACM Female Vocalist Of The Year! Sunday night at the 52nd Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards, Miranda won her 8th straight Female Vocalist trophy. In accepting the award, Miranda gave a nod to her friend and fellow nominee Carrie Underwood “Thank you so much guys, it really means the world to me. Carrie (Underwood) can sing me under the table, we’ve agreed on that.” Miranda went on to express her happiness about the success of women in country music “I’m just glad to see females kicking ass these days, I’m so proud to be a part of that. So cheers to all of us girls out there dreaming!” Miranda has been award as the ACM Female Vocalist of the Year for 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and now 2016! This also raises her total ACM awards to 28.
